CEREC Primescan Digital Denture!

Its been fun seeing just what you can scan with CEREC Primescan!  If you have tried to scan a denture in Omnicam, you know the frustration!  To date, the best way to do a digital denture is to do a border molded impression within the patient’s existing denture, using the teeth…

CEREC Hybrid with Legacy 2 Implants

Wow, this case was cool!!  Edentulous upper, partial on the lower.  Planned in Dentiq Guide, with a printed guide.  Left the teeth on the right to anchor and free handed these and his uppers. Use a bunch of Legacy 2s also on the upper and will screwed on MUAs after healing and the new Implant…

Purple Guides Are Key: Keystone Key Guide Resin Case Printed on Moonray final Primescan Mini Hybrid

Here is a case that didn’t go as planned, but we are still going to end up with a good result.  Patient presented with two implants in the #24,25 spot with some bone loss.  These were placed out of the country and upon unscrewing, seemed to be kinda Zimmer.  Obviously too close together and not…

Amelogenesis Imperfecta Progression and Digital Solution

Amelogenesis Imperfecta is a condition where the enamel does not form correctly during tooth formation.   The enamel typically wears faster than normal, and even at an early age.   The teeth are highly susceptible for dental caries because the enamel has difficulty protecting the underlying dentin layer.   It can occur throughout the mouth or particular teeth…

Truly Blended Zirconia! ZirCAD Multi

Zirconia is revolutionizing the dental materials world.   We all know this, and enjoy it’s predictability, accurate machining, and strength.   However, the biggest hurdle has been the esthetic value of zirconia.   Sure, there are brands and techniques that can give one a translucent nature to zirconia (5Y-TZP) but it takes a LONG time for sintering, and…

You Can’t Do That! Implant Level, Overdenture to Fixed Hybrid with Cemented Ti Base from the Brighterway Institute Bite printed on Moonray S

The world of all digital, model free Hybrids is a bit like the Wild West these days.  First, there is almost zero literature on the subject. Second we have docs that do it every day, and docs on the sidelines with there arms cross s=telling you you can’t do it.  It doesn’t work.  Its not…
