Been posting a bit on digital hybrids, so it was a nice change to get back to my roots and post about Guided Surgery!! Got a chance to try out Nobel’s new DTX Studio which will replace Nobel Clinician and the new version has the ability to export to STL for $50. Super impressive software with automatic STL to Dicom matching as well as automatic guide proposals! No more drawing lines or matching up dots!! Patient had a thin ridge and lost an implant crown on #19. Scanned with Galileos on the CBCT, 3Shape on the ridge, and used my new Sprintray Pro to print!
What’s cool about DTX is that it has the “offset” set up for most implants, including Implant Direct! Smooth surgery. Will do the finals with the ELOS scan bodies and ti bases all digital and model free!!
If you want to see this in action, plus learn how to design and place Guided Implants using Nobel’s DTX Studio and make your own guides, come to Brighterway yourself for 3 days of Digital Dentistry!!
