Well I finally got my Speefire/Wet Dry Mill combo, so here is my first case. I have used InCoris Meso before but never Celtra Duo. And was intrigued my the strength and the fact that I could stain and glaze it and it wasn’t purple. Free hand immediate on a grafted site. Note the change in quality from my first X-ray with the apico and the Schick33.
Patient returned in 6 months for uncover. Started with my DEKA CO2 laser and then a carbide to shape the tissue. May have gotten a little aggressive on the buccal.
Currently we only have one option for the InCoris abutment blocks: Wet Mill with a set of size 20 diamonds unlike crowns where we use carbides. I wanted to try out the esthetics of Celtra Duo and felt that Zirconia may be too opaque for a pre molar. Spoiler Alert: Celtra is kinda opaque anyway.
Love Todd’s SRS system to get the sprue out. Everyone go to the DE store and get a few. Placed the abutment direct on the pad in the oven, No beads needed.
Lol pay attention to the little touch screen on the Speed Fire! I ended up hitting Zirconia sintering instead of the Celtra Duo Sintering! End result: Kinda underwhelming to be honest. Sorry for all the spit in the picture. I found the material more opaque than Emax LT. Certainly an option but I would have rather used Zirconia if I knew it would be this opaque. But the adjacent crowns were PFMs so no biggie.
