This was my very first Implant Case Ever! I started placing implants about 7 years ago! This patient left my practice for whatever reason and came back for a cleaning! Lots to learn from this one. Look at that giant flap! I had a buddy with a Galileos help me measure stuff, non guided,
Although its certainly functioning there is a lot wrong with this case. Note how close my implants are. You can see the resultant bone loss between these. Also, because I did not do pre prothetic planning, just had a CBCT to avoid the nerve, I have 3 pre molars! would not fly by todays standards for sure. One of the things I tell my docs is to take photos of everything and post them. The critique makes you better but also you can go back and learn from your mistakes. She needs an implant on #19 so I promise to do better this time!
