Suprinity by Vita was super-fantastic with this amelogenesis imperfecta case. This was a young woman who always hated her teeth, but has a bigger-than-life personality. Her dad was so sweet to get these for her as a gift. It was emotional for all of us.
We broke the case up into three sections 4-6, 11-13, and 7-10. They were all completed in one visit and bonded with Variolink Esthetic.
What I love about Suprinity: it has a very life-like opalescence and vitality. The 0M1 HT is a spectacular bleach shade that isn’t too much or too little. It is just right.
What I don’t like about Suprinity: milling can be an issue with chipping. While the literature doesn’t say this, my eyes see something differently. I don’t think it is clinically significant, but I did mill another veneer at a different insertion axis to correct some variances of a margin. Just make sure that the margins are prepared as shown below, and make your insertion axis in the long axis of the tooth.
