Yeah It’s Pretty Clear, I Ain’t No Size 2: 7mm Legacy Restored with 5.7mm Tibase

Here is an immediate case that we ended up with a big 7mm Legacy Implant.  This was a Legacy 4, but you only need a 2.  Used CEREC guide with my keys to place.

 

Again, if you read my posts, you will see how I place my graft and use the membrane.  Left to heal for about 5 months.

Scanned the case.  Look at the notch and the gray scan cap!  What did I do wrong?  I did not line them up and guess what?  The milled Emax did not fit, went back to rescan and its all good to go!  Placed a contour healer and ended up dismissing the patient who was in a hurry.

Patient came back and we tried it in and luted the tibase to the Emax framework.

 

All good to go, notice the nice tissue cuff.  Torqued to 30 Ncm and filled the access with teflon tape, and went through my opaquing protocol!  Love how these look!
