Wow, this case was cool!! Edentulous upper, partial on the lower. Planned in Dentiq Guide, with a printed guide. Left the teeth on the right to anchor and free handed these and his uppers.
Use a bunch of Legacy 2s also on the upper and will screwed on MUAs after healing and the new Implant Direct Scan Bodies.
MUAs placed and patient scanned in CEREC Ortho
Now for the tricky part, the bite!! Scanned the patient’s dentures in Meshmixer and used “Plane Cut”. Placed a few scan bodies and blue mousse on the left, then used the same blue mousse and did the right. Printed on the Envsiontec One!
Sent the STLs to my buddy Josh Jakson at Evolve Dental and was literally designed in a day!! Printed in A1 E-Dent Micro Filled Composite on the super fast and highly accurate Envsiontec One!
This “Prototype” was layered with Anaxgum Dark Pink paste composite and a little Red stain and Orange Pink. flowable. Took about a half an hour to add the composite. The prints would cost about 10 bucks per arch. The patient will wear for a few weeks and once we are comfortable with the esthetics, the phonetics and the lack of food impaction we will go to the final!! So excited to do more of these!!
Here is the final PMMA beautiful work done by Jack Mazlomian at Level 3!!! Passive fit and no bite adjustment!!
Here is the final. Patient was thrilled!! In retrospect, with what I have been doing with photogrammetric scanners like Imetric, I think I got lucky on this one, but all in all, really thrilled with the end result! White Peaks solid zirconia on Implant Direct scan bodies
