Here is a completed case. Classic Guide with Barium Sulfate teeth. For me I can design a CEREC Proposal if I have a distal tooth (bookend) but if its a free end, its just too tough to manage, so I just have the lab do it.
Easy to get the implants lined up with a Parallelism feature in Galileos
Implants placed through the Guide. I don’t usually do this, but did just for fun ;}
4 months later, I placed healing caps as the patient was wearing a flipper. Now I have to do the second stage surgery.
Placed the Guide back in the mouth to help the laser find the implants.
Closed tray impression with the Re-Plant impression copings.
Placed Anatomic Healing Abutments (Contour Healers) Not the pre-molar looks wonky as the indexing is only slightly off. These are really cool as they exaggerate your indexing. If I had used these at the time of surgery I would have turned the pre-molar implant a little more counter clockwise.
Custom Direct is the new abutment/bar program at Implant Direct. They use the 3Shape system.
After getting the abutments from Custom Direct, off they went to my regular lab forcrowns. The custom abutments have great Ferrule as well as the margins can be just slightly sub gingival for easy cement removal.
Torqued in at 30 Ncm. Note the tissue scalloping we got with the Contour Healers.
