No Library No Problem: TSV (Implant Direct) Implants in Primescan with design by Daniel Portal

I was super excited to get my Primescan, then equally disappointed when I realized they did not get FDA approval within the CEREC software to make screw retained crowns on the TSV (Tapered Screw Vent by Zimmer) Sirona ti bases which are compatible with a number of implants including the Implant Direct Legacy line which I have been using for the past 8 years.  So what are our choices?  PVS?  Well here is a “workaround” which is not that bad of a deal.  NT trading makes, in my opinion, better scan bodies than most, in that they are just one piece unlike the Scan Posts we are used to which are metal (which doesn’t scan well) plus we need to put a cap on it which can introduce a lot of errors.   In this case we have a bit of decay, did endo on #15.  Scanned in Primescan and exported to Daniel Portal, an incredible ExoCAD designer who took it from there.  Daniel charges $10 a unit for design.  Contact him on FB. Yes I know I look over reduced but there was a lot of decay.
