You all know that I am a Guided kinda guy, but I had to catch a flight and had a few emergencies worked in, so I decided to do this cases non guided. This was a rough initial extraction and looks like I still had a sliver of root tip left. Graft with DFDBA and membrane. Based on the cross section we had a nice wide ridge with the root tip right in the middle of the planned osteotomy.
Spotted in the Wild!!! I am developing a set of surgical instruments. The punches are compatible with CEREC Guide but can be used elsewhere. There will be a S, M, L and large with a longer shank to go through the guide. The mini elevator pictured here with have the IME metallic blue color anodized.
At 10mm we were at the level of the root tip. Changed over to an 11.5 to get that out.
Just love Emil stuff!! This is actually a large CEREC Guide stop but used it for non guided. It fits all through the series of drills I used.
Removed root tip chunks and placed implant. Could not get the incorporated sealer puff. Placed implant and indexed. Torqued at 30 Ncm, but still used contour healer. Took about 20 minutes.
