If You Love CEREC Guide So Much Then Why Don’t You Marry It?: Completed Implant Case #30

Here is an older case that came back for the crown.  #30 old strip perf-ed endo.  Extracted and grafted.  Radiographic guide with Large reference body fabricated:

Implant planned then the reference body was located

Drill body fabricated in CEREC then all the pieces put together

Implant direct npn guided kit, no stops but there are laser lines

Implant placed, torqued out at 45

Planned and placed.  Healing abutment placed which later fell out.

Patient lost the healing abutment, not swallowed, just lost somewhere in his house.  We did not have another so we used a healing cap and collar from ID which was too short for his tissue.  Lido with epi used to keep bleeding at bay.  Punched with little bleeding and impression with fixture mount.

I am testing out these healing abutments from E-pros in Korea.  Not as large of a tissue profile as the contour healers, but I will try a larger one next time.
