Here at the IDS and 3D Printing is everywhere!! This is the case from the other day. In Meshmixer we created a solid model and also used a tooth from the Christian Brenes library . I combined the tooth with the “implant” we used and scaled it to 5.2mm and positioned the apex where the implant should be placed. Then used “Boolean Subtraction” to punch the shape into the model. Instant sulcus formed and space for the analog. In my new book on 3D printing I will include dimension of analogs.
Take a Biogeneric Individual tooth and with Move and Scale, make it smaller and just use Form Smooth. Milled in Enamic. Note thats the wrong analog it should be purple, my assistant just used it to hold the ti base during cementing.
I kept it engaging as I didn’t want to waste a ti base. Sutured with gut.
