Here was a tough case. Previous bridge broken off and not a lot of bone. Two unit cerec guide 2s can be done in the office as separate guides but thats $120! In this case I planned 2 8mm Legacy 2 implants and sent to Tra’ Chambers at Xpress Dental Lab in OK for the file conversion in Inlab for $14 bucks!!
For some reason, Inlab wouldn’t great a rest on #18. No biggie we had a ton of support elsewhere. Just for fun I thought it would be cool to print in a different color in Robox using PLA, a material made from corn oil and is food safe.
Supports were surprisingly easy to remove and the surgery went smooth! Will restore with Zirconia crowns, may send back to the lab as I will most likely be splinting the two implants. At the end of the day it was $14 for the file conversion and maybe $3 for the guide so $17 vs two CG2 blocks at $110 or a guide for about $300.
