Digital Emergence Profile

The emergence profile of our dental restorations is so important for so many reasons:  hygiene, food impaction, tissue support, esthetics, etc.   While using the CEREC-TiBase system, the emergence profile is very predictable.

In this particular case, you can see that the head of the implant leaves little room for the restoration to angle from it.   The bone around it in this area will not allow for anything but what will slide right into it.   Because the digital design allows us to control this exactly, it will slide straight in with just the right amount of tissue pressure.   This leads for a very hygienic and esthetic outcome.
