Got to try the Vita Enamic IS Implant Blocks today. Definitely impressed. Here is a case I really wish I had done guided. Two Immediate molar implants. Patient returned in 6 months to uncover and restore. Used the DEKA Laser and two TSV 5.7mm Scan Posts:
Note the screw hole position. I am definitely too facial in my Implant position. These are not functional cusps so I am not worried, but definitely lose style points. I was blown away at how fast Enamic mills. Used the standard 12 S diamonds.
Vita has a stain and glaze kit that has quite a few colors. They definitely apply thicker than regular stains so it may take a bit to get it down. The material needs to be sand blasted then salinated for 60 seconds. If you don’t have a blaster you can etch.
I like my #3 better than my #2. Got a little crazy with the tan stains.
Here is the final. The composite in the access blended really well. This is a nice thing to have in your arsenal, especially for temporaries or custom healing abutments, or if you are just pressed for time.
