The more Guided cases I do the more I realize that you really need to spend some time and take a few steps back before you print your guide. Here is a case where we really babied 7 and 8 with retreats and apicos over about 20 years and finally we just had to extract and graft. Didn’t want to do immediate implants with the amount of bone destruction and infection. Planned the case and lined up my implants within the center of the teeth but didn’t do what I say in lectures, zoom out!! You can see through the “retrospectoscope” that 7 and 8 are leaning too much to the distal.
