Got to work with a great surgeon, Dr Vivian Roknian on this Primescan hybrid case!! The more of these I do, the more I learn from past mistakes, so from the get go we took lots of pre op pics and two iPhone Face Scans on the Bellus 3D app. As you can seem his existing temporary converted denture has a midline issue that we want to correct in the 3D printed hybrid before we go to the final which will be done by Burbank Dental lab in Trilor with Emax teeth.

The face scan was incorporated into the design from Burbank dental so we could make sure the midline was matched up to the patient’s eyes.
I have heard a lot of cool things about EnvisionTEC One’s multi color, multi translucency printing. We sent the STLs to Envisiontec and it was printed with separate base and teeth on the EnvisionTEC One. Its sort of a secret how they do it, but I am told they will release at Chicago Midwinter:
The fit of the Tibases were great! These were printed in the Envisiontec E-Dent 400 teeth resin and the base in the E-Denture 3D + material. E-Dent 400 has a flexural strengthen greater than PMMA! We are going to make some changes to the design and print out another set, so we will have them do more incisal translucency on the next set. This is why I am not a fan of two appointment hybrids. With a printed try in, with the exception of the ti bases,
I can’t get over how great the edges look! We will post pics of the next set when we make the changes, the buccal coridor was a bit narrow.
Patient was happy with how “solid” these felt!
