You all know me (well at least you know about my dentistry) and know I take great pride in showing my implant surgeries AND the restorative. But, in this case I did not place the implants, and I did not do the lab work. Just took an impression and cemented. One of my patients alternates between my office and a great peiorodontist. So when it was time for this patient to get implants he decided to go to his guy. Which is great and he did a wonderful job. The problem was that I do not use 3I, so I did not have any scan posts and didn’t want to but two just for this case, so I went old school and took a PVS impression and sent it to my incredible master lab tech Jack and Level 3 Dental Studios. Lucky I had used and restored so many different implant brands over the years I had the proper screw drivers.
Jack my lab guy rocking’ the InLab! used his new InLab system to scan the model and we did two MO4 abutment blocks and A3.5 Emax LT crowns. Look at how good Jack has gotten with design. He has only had the system for a few months and is killing it! Ti-Bases sand blasted and the frameworks cemented with Multi-Link Abutment.
Everything went well at delivery. Torqued to 30 Ncm and placed sponges. Some ask if I fill the screw access with composite. I do not, I just let the Multilink fill it up as I deliver the crowns.
