Single centrals can always be difficult to match to the remaining teeth. This was no exception, and certainly not perfect. However, when you have the final ceramics in your control with CEREC, it makes it much easier.
In this case, we milled two crowns: a 3M2 Real Life (Vita) and a 2M2 Triluxe Forte (Vita) block. We knew the 3M2 shade would be close, but we always mill a slightly lighter shade just in case the predicted shade is low in value. A lighter ceramic is easier to “darken” than lighten up a darker shade.
The crown was then bonded in to place with Multilink (yellow, Ivoclar-Vivadent.) The Left Central was repaired with Empress Direct (dentin, Ivoclar-Vivadent.)
