If the patient is happy with their current denture and it does not rock, you can duplicate it and use it as the Radiographic Guide. You need two copies in Galileos. One will be attached to the SICAT bite plate. The Second can be used for the bite, for making the bar or substructure. It can be powdered up or used with the Omnicam to incorporate into the Galielos scan. The first has barium sulfate in the teeth, the second must be an exact copy, but does not need barium sulfate.
Select a 3rd molar position, call it a crown or an inlay, it does not matter. Use Manual Margin finder, make a restoration, it will be ugly but it does not matter, export it as an .ssi file. Import into Galileleos you will have the denture with a “cap” that will look like a stone model.
When in Galielos, its just like any other .ssi Import. Double click on the CEREC model, then double click on the corresponding Barium Sulfate tooth on the Pan. I like 4 teeth molars or pre molars as the Panoramic Curve can distort the anterior. Hoila! Full arch CEREC case.
The second set of Duplicate Dentures can now be used to take the bite and then be used as a “matrix” to fabricate and metal work that would be used with the final prosthesis. Clear as mud? Again, this will be covered way more in depth on my hands on classes.
