Whenever I plan my implants I like to first get the implant into the edentulous space without the CEREC plan. Why, you may ask? Once you have that tooth and model its at times hard to see the adjacent teeth roots. Furthermore, you may draw your margin wrong or design your crown inaccurately.

One really important yet frustrating thing in Galileos is mapping the nerve in Panoramic or Implant Aligned view. The slices are made at right angles to the floor, yet the mandible is triangular, so you get these funky slices and have to go back and forth to get the nerve. Do it in MPR, where…
