The newly FDA approved Vita Enamic IS abutment block is out. It is very easy to use and bond to a CEREC TiBase. The major advantage to this material regarding restoring implants is that it bends and flexes similarly to dentin. Obviously, this is great for teeth, but time will tell with dental implants. …

A very sweet lady had a fractured root with her lateral maxillary lateral incisor. She was unable to do an implant and needed something fast. So, our second option was a simple cantilever off of the canine immediately after extraction. Her provisional cantilever was milled with Telio CAD and based off of her preoperative occlusion…
