A single anterior crown such as a lateral or central takes the greatest effort in our journey of matching ceramic restorations. When I am faced with this type of treatment care, my primary emphases is on decreasing visual tension. My blending objective is accomplished by using the principle of distraction as applied through shaping and color accents. My first step is choosing a ceramic with proper brilliance and then shape and accent accordingly relative to the adjacent teeth. I then control the final blend with spacer management and using the resin cement color or brilliance for final color match using the Variolink Esthetic system. This will be my presentation focus Friday morning (September 18th from 9:45-10:45 AM) at CEREC 30th.
