All About that Base: .25mm Smartbase Screw retained crown on a Legacy 2 milled on VHF Z-4

 

This was a pretty simple case, so I debated posting it, but what the heck its a Monday.  Immediate molar healed up after 6 months. Not a ton of keratinized tissue on facial, so no punches or lasers for me.  Simple non releasing incision and Implant Direct Smartbase scan body.  Paced contour healer.

 

One cool thing about the Smart bases is that they come in both variable gingival heights and widths.  Use a .25mm collar and wide width on this one as we were not too subcrestal.  Milled from a regular Emax 14 B1 block.
