Everyone knows I am a big fan of Emax, but you can’t deny the strength and speed of Enamic. I am super excited about trying it on Implants as well. patient came in at 11, and we break for lunch at 12:30 (I take a 1.5 hour lunch still), so I was tempted to just run through but had some errands to run, so I decided to try Enamic as a crown. i have done some onlays and was super happy
Patient presented with #31 hot and cold sensitive. About flew out of the chair when we tested it. Did the endo (I know..there is a reason I like implants..) I am not a fan of endo crowns, so I did a conventional buildup.
#31 was in cross bite so I opted to do this in Bio Copy and carved my anatomy in with a bur.
Started with a white messenger wheel to remove the sprue and shape then the Enamic polishers. The bristle wheel was just for the contra angle but I put it in the straight HP. Followed up with Dashine (pink) on a chamois wheel.
Added at little stain and composite glaze. Not bad for a second molar and under 1.5 hours including the endo! And I got my full lunch break!
