CEREC Grinding Margin Quality

The grinding quality of the 4.4 CEREC software algorithms is the best yet for all bur options.  When working with a softer margin style such as a light chamfer or feather, the smaller left bur size will create the more optimal margin edge.

We have had the traditional left step bur for a while. This bur is my preference bur for chamfer or light chamfer margin styles and is working very well in the 4.4 software.

With the 4.4 software, we have the new EF bur set.  These burs are designed for extra fine grinding and are the smallest diameter bur in our grinding arsenal.  They are my choice for feather and no-prep veneer margin styles.

The EF burs do require a four engine setup MC XL.
