Hole in 3: Yet Another Immediate Molar Case with CEREC Guide and Legacy 4 Implant

 

It seems I have become a specialist on the Immediate Implant with CEREC Guide on #3.  Patient had two retreats on #3 and still in pain.  We decided to just remove it and place an implant. Scanned before I extracted with the omnicam and just used the model rather than going through the process of generating a proposal.  Later removed the crown and flattened the molar as I always do.  Made the radiographic guide with reference body and scanned in Galileos.

 

 

Again if you want to use Implant Direct or Zimmer, you have to get my keys at www.implantsmadeeasy.com/shop.  Look at how we are centered in the bone of the furcation!   Immediate implants are not just “putting an implant in a hole”  its trying to drill in between 3 roots, which is really hard to do non guided! And if you follow my stuff you know how I place implants in the socket.  Graft with DFDBA.  In this case we used a Legacy 4 ( I have switched to just using the Legacy 2 as I don’t need the stock abutments and I do all custom)  Place membrane with the cover screw and suture up!
