CEREC Correlation Can Copy Anything!

 

 

Correlation is an old CEREC term for copying, or duplicating the previous three-dimensional shape.  In other words, it copied what the tooth looked like before preparation.   It is now referred to as BioCopy.

It is a great method within CEREC to retro-fit a crown to a partial, or “reprint” an old crown’s occlusion.  But, it can do more than that!  It can duplicate states as seen here!

Unfortunately, California cannot be milled like this.   The RIGHT bur in the milling chamber will break when it is trying to mill the very LEFT leaning San Francisco area!   LOL!  🙂
