Here is a finished case that shows a lot of different aspects of both Implantology and Digital Dentistry. Wide edentulous space lacking a lot of attached tissue. Just scanned in a wax up and really did not have to do any proposal work in CEREC.
Moved a lot of tissue from the palate to the buccal, not the wide band of attached tissue on the buccal of the implants. Due to space we ended up doing a 3 tooth bridge instead of 3 skinny implants.
Placed Ti-bases and Scan posts in CEREC 4.2 Connect and Sent to the awesome Mr Jay Black at Winter Springs Dental Arts! You can’t do abutments for Bridges in Chairside 4.2 so sent it out to Jay!
Within 4.2 Connect you can display the upper and lower teeth in occlusion in the Model axis which really helps.
Jay planned and milled two In-Coris Zirconia abutments for the Implants and an Emax bridge on top. Now Emax is approved for pre-molars forward and this is sort of pushing it, on the patient left the patient has a midline discrepancy so its two pre-molars on 12 and 13 but here we almost have space for three pre-molars. I am sure it will fly.
I did not know when I first got my contour healers that the pre-molar healers need to be positioned in this configuration, so I charged directions after the scan, but ideally you would want them placed in this fashion from the get go.
Zirconia abutments screwed down. Supra Gingival margins.
Bridge tried in and abutments torqued to 30 Ncm.
Final cemented with Multi-Link. Handy Dandy floss trick and all cleaned up.
